Directed, hosted, and produced by Yuval, One Actor Short is a groundbreaking episodic series in which strangers are spontaneously cast off the streets of New York City and invited to star in an improvised film- no script, no rehearsal, just raw storytelling.

The series has earned more than 55 international festival awards, including wins at The Big Apple Film Festival, the NYC Independent Film Festival, the Prague International Film Festival, and the Vegas CineFest International Film Festival, and earned Yuval an Emmy Award for Talent: Program Host at the 64th Capital Emmy Awards.

“The BetaLoop”: A Film Festival Favorite

Written, directed, and produced by Yuval, The BetaLoop is a retro sci-fi story about a collector of old AV equipment whose 80s gear starts to bend time and space. It won five awards at the 48 Hour Film Project, including Best Direction, Best Special FX, and the 2018 Audience Choice Award.

Yuval’s comedic martial arts short blends over-the-top action with offbeat humor and won the Audience Award at the 48 Hour Film Project. It’s a playful look at his comedic range.

For House of Fury I couldn’t find a plot summary for Yuval’s short online (searches only turn up an unrelated 2005 Hong Kong film with the same title). If you send me one line about the story, I’ll add it so the text matches the other two.
